Flame-Thrower^â Mag Trigger Billet Distributor for Small and Big Block Chevy’s

PerTronix’ new Magnetic Trigger billet distributor for small and big block Chevy applications is designed to provide maximum ignition performance when used with a CD type ignition box at a price you can afford. This new Mag Trigger Distributor is available in standard deck or their new slip collar design that fits either standard deck or tall deck applications.

This distributor allows you to upgrade your outdated points or stock electronic distributor with a performance proven distributor that features a precision Magnetic pickup coil and reluctor in a CNC machined 6061 T-6 polished billet housing and deck.

The specially engineered reluctor is made from lightweight FC-0208 alloy which offers superior dimensional stability for symmetrical spark separation with extremely accurate signaling at both low and high rpm. The over molded magnetic pickup supports the windings while providing excellent corrosion resistance. These units comes pre wired with the common Tyco Mate-N-Lock® connector that mates with most popular CD type ignition boxes.

Additional features include a tempered .500” diameter shaft with low torsion displacement; an upper ball bearing and lower self-lubricating oil impregnated copper powder metal bushing and a durable heat-treated gear. Distributor comes with a factory set performance curve, a mechanical advance limiting adjustment and small high dielectric strength cap and rotor for installations with tight firewall clearance. Available with Red or Black male style caps.
